Chamomile Tincture 1oz

Chamomilla(Matricaria recutita) or German chamomile is one of over a half dozen species of chamomile including the other commonly used species Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) or English garden chamomile.

HOW TO USE

Suggested Use: Although Chamomilla's primary use is to help relieve anxiety and insomnia, it has been used for a variety of other conditions. This is primarily due to many medicinal compounds found in Chamomile. Topically and in lotions and poultices it has been useful for hemorrhoids. Chamomile is used in many skin lotions for its soothing and anti inflammatory properties and is known to be fungistatic. Compounds in chamomile have anti inflammatory, antiseptic, and blood thinning properties and one compound found in chamomile, (apigenin), has been seen to have chemopreventive effects against cancer cells in the laboratory.
