Clove essential oil has a spicy, earthy and bold aroma that is used both for its enjoyable, warming scent and its therapeutic properties. Used for immune support and oral hygiene, as well as for soothing sore muscles, joints and inflammation, Clove essential oil is often used in massage oils, mouthwash, toothpaste, or applied for tooth pain. Clove essential oil should always be diluted before use.
HOW TO USE
Common Uses: Make a holiday blend with Clove, Sweet Orange, and Cinnamon Bark essential oils. Add this mixture to room spray, diffusers, potpourri, candles, and soaps.
For achiness or inflammation, dilute Clove and Peppermint in a lotion or oil and apply to the area of concern.
For immune support, diffuse Clove or dilute into a lotion and apply to the chest or the feet.
Add Clove to household cleaners and room sprays for a clean, great smelling environment.
Blending Recommendations: Clove is comforting and warming with a spicy, earthy, herbal scent. It is a base and middle note when used in blending. Clove has a powerful smell and should be used lightly in most situations.

Safety Information: Do not use with children under 2 years old. May be irritating to sensitive skin and mucus membranes. Do not consume orally if taking blood thinners. Always use diluted.
Maximum Adult Dilution: 1%; 6 drops per ounce of carrier
