Common Hyssop essential oils contain toxic chemicals and should not be used. This variety, Hyssop decumbens, is a special oil that does not have the same chemical makeup as the common Hyssop and is much more suitable for use. It's a powerful antiviral oil known for its use with the nervous and respiratory systems.
HOW TO USE
Common Uses: To diffuse, use 3-15 drops with water in an ultrasonic diffuser. For palm inhalation, blend 1 drop essential oil with several drops virgin plant oil, apply to palms, cup hands lightly over nose and deeply inhale 5 times. For topical application, blend up to 45 drops with 1oz of carrier oil, and apply to desired area (1-5% dilution). For women’s health during menses and digestion support, massage into the lower abdomen and the lower back. This may also be applied to scars.
Blending Recommendations: Bergamot, Clary Sage, Eucalyptus Radiata, Frankincense, Rose Geranium, Helichrysum, Juniper Berry, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Palmarosa, Ravintsara ct 1,8 cineole, Rosemary ct 1,8 cineole, Rosemary ct verbenone, Spanish Sage, Sweet Marjoram, Sweet Orange, Tea Tree.
Safety Information: We do not advise Hyssop for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or suffering from epilepsy. Our recommended maximum dilution rate is 5% for adults.
Shelf Life: 1-3 years if stored properly.
Storage: Store upright, cap closed, out of direct heat and sunlight.
