Originally from China, Petitgrain, also known as Bitter Orange, grows well in the the Mediterranean climate. Bitter orange creates an essential oil with a very nice scent and by simple inhalation, this oil will can calm stress and harmonize the emotions.
HOW TO USE
Common Uses: Add Petitgrain to homemade soaps, lotions, and personalized aromas. Diffuse Petitgrain for a bright citrus scent that is uplifting and that promotes relaxation and peaceful sleep. To support balanced sebum production on the face, add 1 drop Petitgrain and 1 drop Rosemary Verbenone to a dab of skin cream. A drop of Petitgrain can also be applied in lotion to sore muscles and joints.
Blending Recommendations: Petitgrain has green-citrus notes and a hint of spice. It blends well with most essential oils, but especially citrus and floral scents. It has hundreds of potential DIY uses, including homemade soaps, lotions, personalized scents, diffusers, room sprays and more.
