The pytosterols and unsaponifiables contained in Calendula oil make it a particularly good choice for everyone. Calendula is an ally of babies and their sensitive skin, and is often used as a moisturizer for infants. Safe and easy to use, Calendula oil can be applied on its own, or combined with other soothing essential oils such as Lavender or German Chamomile.
HOW TO USE
Calendula is often used as a complementary or alternative treatment. Calendula oil has antifungal, anti inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. It's also used as an antiseptic. Calendula is applied to the skin to reduce pain and swelling (inflammation) and to treat poorly healing wounds.
INGREDIENTS
Composition at a Glance: Complex fatty acids, depending on the oil used for the maceration. Known for its anti inflammatory faradiol esters, antioxidant carotenoids and flavanoids.
Color and Texture: Pale and bright yellow oil. Medium absorption; sometimes additional massaging into the skin is needed.
