Roman Chamomile flowers have been used for over 3000 years as a medicinal herb throughout the Mediterranean and now worldwide. The herb has historically been used to help with minor wounds, skin health, digestive troubles, sleep, relaxation, and balanced emotions. It was often planted at monasteries as a ground cover to encourage relaxation and contemplation.

Common Uses: When applied topically in a carrier oil Roman Chamomile essential oil may support calm skin and normal digestion. It may also be used in salves, massage oils, and diffuser blends.

Safety Information: Roman Chamomile is amongst the safest of all essential oils and is suitable for use with children and during pregnancy. Roman Chamomile is a potent essential oil and is best applied diluted and should always be diluted or diffused when used with children. For adults, use at less than a 5% dilution; for infants and toddlers, use less than 1% dilution (less than 6 drops per ounce of carrier). Some may have an allergy to Chamomile if they have an allergy to ragweed.
