The Ginger root is known for over 6000 years in India and China to soothe occasional stomach upset and is widely spread because of its culinary use. Actually, several double blind studies with placebo have established the effectiveness of ginger in the treating of pregnancy and post operatory nausea. The E Commision for phytotherapy recognizes the medical use of the ginger root to address digestive disorders and to prevent nausea caused by traveling.



Common Uses: To help support healthy digestion, massage a blend of 1 drop Ginger with 20 drops carrier oil onto the abdomen. Ginger may be diffused in small amounts, typically 1-2 drops per ounce of water. When traveling or experiencing mildly nauseous feelings, a simple palm inhalation method can be used to support a steady stomach and a clear head.

General Dilution Guidelines:

Topical: 1-5% general use, 5% or more under professional recommendation.

Diffusion: In small amounts; typically 1-2 drops per ounce of water.

Blending Recommendations: Bay Leaf Laurel, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Cistus, Clove, Coriander, Cypress, Frankincense, Rose Geranium, Grapefruit, Helichrysum, Juniper Berry, Lemon, Lime, Mandarin, Sweet Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Rosemary cineole, Rose Otto, Sandalwood, Spearmint, Vanilla, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang.

Safety Information: No contraindications. May be used with children 12 and up. Ginger may be skin sensitizing and should be diluted before topical use.
