Sage is a hardy herb that grows worldwide. Its name comes from the Latin verb salvare, Which translates as to heal or to save. It has a long history as both a culinary and medicinal herb and is still used as a cure all daily tea in Greece and other countries around the Mediterranean. Sage essential oil is not intended for use with young children, the elderly, or pregnant women. For these populations, use a hydrosol or the whole herb.
HOW TO USE
Common Uses: Sage essential oil can be added to household cleaning products and diffusers to cleanse surfaces and freshen the air. It can also be added to formulas for promoting healthy immunity.
Blending Recommendations: Sage's earthy, herbal scent is a middle note that blends well with woody, minty, and conifer essential oils.

Safety Information: Sage essential oil contains thujone and should not be used orally; do not use with young children or with the elderly, or if pregnant or breastfeeding.
