It is best known as a flavoring in gum, toothpastes, mouth washes and candies. Considered to be a gentle alternative to Peppermint, Spearmint can be used during pregnancy and with children.
HOW TO USE
Common Uses: Spearmint can be found in respiratory salves, foot creams and ointments for promoting joint and muscular health. Spearmint is often used for maintaining oral health and can be added to toothpaste, tooth powder and mouthwash.
Blending Recommendations: Spearmint has a minty, sweet, herbal scent and blends well with many essential oils as a middle top note.
