Grapefruit Blossom Raw Honey
Beehives placed on an organic grapefruit grove located in Temecula, California
12oz Glass Bottle
Grapefruit Blossom is a highly coveted and hard to find varietal in Southern California. It has an elegantly unexpected flavor with notes of tropical fruit and a light crisp taste. It is not as sweet as some of the other floral honey varietals. Although the bees collect the nectar from grapefruit blossoms, it doesn't taste like grapefruit. Grapefruit Blossom honey is a favorites for all types of beverages, especially tea and cocktails! It is also excellent in marinades and salad dressings.
Raw honey never goes bad, however it will naturally harden and crystallize over time. This is a natural process that can easily be reversed to its liquid state. Simply warm a pot of water on the stove or in the microwave. Remove the bowl and place your honey jar in the warmed water until the crystals dissolve.
Raw honey is not recommended for pregnant women or infants under one year of age.
Although this is an infused honey, it is done so at a low temperature so that the honey remains in its raw state with the vitamins, minerals and enzymes in tact.
